10th Annual Summer Social and Fundraising Auction - July 23, 2009

Every year OMLA gathers a group of 200 lawyers, judges, students and other community members who care about diversity and the law and brings them together to fundraise for OMLA bar preparation scholarships*.
OMLA is currently seeking donations of all kinds, as well as volunteers for pre-planning and during the day of the event. For more information, contact auction co-chairs Ari Okano or Derily Bechthold.
* About our scholarships: Oregon State Bar statistics show that ethnic minority lawyers are underrepresented compared to the relative size of the population of Oregon. To address this discrepancy, OMLA provides education scholarships to minority bar applicants to help defray the cost of studying for the Oregon State Bar exam. OMLA's scholarships are based in part upon financial need and are funded by OMLA's fundraising event.
